Clients: FYI Asia and DBS Bank

I was commissioned by @fyiasia and @dbsbank to create this large-format A1-size artwork in ink, watercolour and using real food to reveal the secret gastro destination that DBS Altitude VISA Signature Card members get to go in a contest. The artwork-in-progress was captured in two time-lapse videos, showing how I illustrated a spread of delectable dishes that foodies can enjoy at the secret supper club in New York City.

The videos were shared on:

- the FYI Asia cable network channel in 11 SEA countries such as Singapore, Brunei and Thailand

- the websites and social media platforms of FYI and DBS Bank

- on an outdoor screen at Shaw Orchard in Singapore

The project took me two weeks to prepare, from conceptualisation to execution, and the filming took almost 5 hours, whereby I drew and painted each dish and the icons of the Big Apple from scratch. 🍎

I did a painting of an Atlantic puffin bird - a beautiful subject found in the Blue Planet II coffee table book by BBC Earth. In the book you’d find some 200 breathtaking photos and stills from the award-winning BBC series which took five years to film and documented the amazing ocean depths and habitats of our marine creatures. Thank you BBC Earth for the inspiring book which is available from Kinokuniya in Singapore. #eattodrawcollaborations

Thank you Tesco Singapore for the Christmas hamper and for inspiring me to create an easy-to-baked Mango Banana Crumble using the Christmas Pudding shortbread rounds, and also a fun Christmas gingerbread men seasons greeting in stock motion. Check it out on my Instagram #eattodrawcollaborations

Thank you to @cbeebieshq - a BBC TV network for kids for sending a jar of cute doggie biscuits and red packets from the British animation ‘Hey Duggee’. It was fun creating the artwork and stock motion Chinese New Year greeting! #eattodrawcollaborations

Thanks to my favourite dessert shop, Nine Fresh, for making me their Illustrator Of The Month in May 2018! As an ode to this local set-up, I created the Singapore Merlion using their delish pearls, taro balls and chendol. Check it out on their instagram #eattodrawcollaborations

I was commissioned by the MD & Head of HR at a MNC to create illustrations for her article. Inspired by Dr Seuss, I created the whimsical artwork in ink and watercolour. She also invited me to conceptualise the programme for their Corporate Workshop based on the theme of Visual Storytelling & Illustration, and they had a blast getting back to the “drawing board” literally and creating their Pictorial CV!
