I conduct Illustration art workshops and can tailor workshops to engage one in creative thinking. My workshops are great for people of all ages who are looking to get creative, pick up drawing and painting, and have fun with art.

My classrooms range from my intimate home studio in Pasir Ris to creative studio spaces and eateries - it's always about conviviality and creating art in good company. You can also form your own group at your preferred venue. Workshop fee starts from $80 per person.

Pet Art Workshop: Imagine & Create In Watercolours

I hear you and so I’m finally holding this upcoming Pet Art Workshop: Imagine & Create In Watercolours that is happening at Pets Actually on 12 October Saturday (2pm to 4.30pm). At this 2.5-hour workshop, you will learn to sketch your pets using the easy tracing method and illustrate them in watercolours using the basic wet on wet and wet on dry techniques. I will show you tips on working with this popular water-based medium and make it fun and relaxing. We will also form simple but whimsical narratives to bring out your pets quirky personalities such as kitties @maxnmara here in Mini Coopers and doggies @treo.theblackterrors on a magic rug.

Participants will also receive a $10 voucher to spend at the store and are welcome to bring their dogs or cats to the workshop. This workshop is created for beginners or those with some previous art experience at my workshops.

Pets Illustration In Acrylic Ink & Acrylic Paint Art Workshop

Create your own pet portrait with this Pets Illustration Art Workshop that is held at Pets Actually, a dogs and cats dedicated retail store. This 2.5-hour illustration workshop celebrates our love for our pets and participants will learn tips on sketching, tracing, and illustrating their pets in acrylic ink using the wet on wet technique. To add a splash of colours, they will create geometric forms in acrylic paint to make their pet art pop!


Participants will also receive a $10 voucher to spend at the store and are welcome to bring their dogs or cats to the workshop.

Pets & Plants Illustration Art Workshop at Pets Actually

You know how much I love animals and nature, so I’m doubly excited to hold a “Pets & Plants Illustration Art Workshop” at Pets Actually. This dogs and cats dedicated retail store (by owners Celine and Jonathan) offers tres chic pets accessories, pet food, shampoo and more in a uber gorgeous sunlit green space, filled with my favourite plants too!

Together we are hosting this special two-hour illustration workshop that celebrates our love for pets and plants, whereby participants will learn tips on sketching, how to illustrate their pets in ink pens and paint plants in gouache. Participants will also receive a $10 voucher to spend at the store and are welcome to bring their dogs or cats to the workshop!

Pet Art & Woodcraft Creative Workshop, 16 June Sunday

We are holding our “Pet Art & Woodcraft Creative Workshop” again on 16 June 2019, Sunday from 2pm to 5pm at Studio Studio MU / YU, a woodworking space in Katong. This time, we will devote an hour to making the wood picture frame with Lyn, who will teach the basics of woodworking, including sanding, staining, nailing and assembling the frame. It is embellished with a choice of dog or cat ears and tail (let us know your choice during booking). 

After that, I will guide the participants to draw and paint their cat’s or dog’s portrait using watercolour and acrylic paint, and show them easy techniques like wet on wet and the tracing method to achieve this bold illustrative look. Everyone will bring home their pet artwork encased in the wood frame. Created for animal lovers in Singapore and those who are keen to try woodcraft and illustration, this 3-hour creative workshop is great fun during the June school holidays!

"Bake & Paint" Creative Workshop at Palate Sensations

Following the charity art workshop, I’m excited to launch my “Bake & Paint” Creative Workshop at Palate Sensations Cooking School on 16 September Sunday and raise funds for Cat Welfare Society again. At this fun cat-themed creative workshop, guests will enjoy a hands-on culinary session on baking cat-shaped cookies and then learn to paint cats using the mixed media of calligraphy ink and watercolour.
